Sedum pachyphyllum 'Many Fingers' Stonecrop

Succulent houseplants are popular plants for window sills, brighten desks and other indoor spaces where you can show them off. Great for weddings! Protect from frost.

Description:

Stonecrop, many gardeners joke that only stones need less care and live longer! Sedum pachyphyllum is a bush forming or a ground-hugging succulent, up to 1 foot tall, spreading over time by rooting stems and fallen leaves. The glaucous light green silvery leaves are short stumpy finger-like projections and are often tipped with red. The flowers are yellow and appear in the summer. Do not over-water. A light misting of water with a spray bottle once or twice a week is adequate for most succulents.

Succulents are FAR more likely to survive under-watering than over-watering. The thick fleshy leaves will appear wilted and a bit “under-full” when they need water.

Dry soil is necessary. Succulents should be potted in a fast-draining mixture that’s designed for cacti and succulents. Modifying basic potting mix with approximately half potting mix to half Perlite or Vermiculite.

Perfect as a houseplant.
