'Cranberry' Cotoneaster

Cotoneaster apiculatus

Large, beautiful red berries brighten the winter landscape. A medium size, maturing at 3 feet tall and a spreading vase shape from 3 to 6 feet. Arching branches are covered with small, shiny leaves. Pink blossoms line the branches in the spring and are followed by red berries in the fall.

Superb low hedge or ground-cover formed by spreading branches that display an interesting herringbone pattern. Small, pink flowers in spring are followed by large, beautiful red berries that brighten the winter landscape. Cranberry Cotoneaster is a deciduous shrub with year-round ornamental features. Plant one as a foundation plant in your yard, or several for decorative erosion control on a slope or hill in your landscape. Deciduous
