'Red Zinger' Intermediate Iris (6.5" pot)
'Red Zinger' Intermediate Bearded Iris are a little shorter than the Tall Bearded types but equally as colorful and beautiful in the border. plum-red petals with a dark blotch and contrasting orange beards.
Choose a sunny position, with well-drained, loamy soil.
Bearded Iris are heavy feeders, so plan to **fertilize in early spring, and again in late summer.
Plants should be divided every 3 to 4 years, in August. Excellent for cutting.
