Occasionally called fan flower. Self-cleaning.
Fan-shaped, five-petaled half-flowers, is filled all summer with clean, violet flowers sparkling against dark green foliage. Its well-branched, trailing habit is popular for containers. An ideal choice for window boxes, hanging baskets, or tall containers where it's trailing form can flow gracefully over the container's edge. A sun-loving annual that produces a non-stop show of blue flowers.
The plants attract butterflies and are generally avoided by deer. Make a nice planter when planted with Zonal Geraniums, Zinnias or Vinca
