Placement
Typical residential deployments require a Spartan Mosquito Eradicator box containing two Eradicators to be hung from trees or other objects on opposite sides of the yard, no more than 180 feet apart, to get rid of mosquitoes around your home.
One box covers up to one acre. The Eradicators should be placed away from areas where people gather since Spartan Mosquito Eradicators attract hunting mosquitoes. Placement in shade is not necessary, but it will help reduce evaporation.
The two Eradicators will work together to form a barrier to “catch” hunting mosquitoes on the way into the area using the same attraction triggers as people and animals. Mosquitoes that feed will perish and are not able to reproduce. The mosquito population will suffer dramatically in the first 15 days and will be up to 95% controlled for up to 90 days.
Deployment
Spartan Mosquito EradicatorSpartan Mosquito Eradicators should be placed outdoors in the residential area when mosquito season starts. There are average times to do this based on temperate zones, but a rule of thumb is to place the tubes out after the first mosquito bite of the season. Monitor water fill-levels and replace units at least every 90 days.
