Plant in the spring after all danger of frost has passed. Plant in early fall in mild climates. To maintain a tidy appearance, cut back foliage by one-third in summer when flowers appear.
Leaves may be used at any time. Cut back by two-thirds after flowering. Dry fully grown branches in the shade for later use.
