Prefers fertile soil and regular moisture. Sow outdoors in late spring after soil is completely warm (at least 65° F). For best pollination and well-filled ears, plant in blocks of at least four rows.
Ears are ready to pick when the husks begin to dry in the fall, although they can be left on the stalk until after the first frosts.
