Alocasia Reversa
Alocasia reversa stands out among jewel Alocasias for its striking leaf pattern, featuring dark markings inside and a light green exterior. Originating from hillside areas near Kuching, this plant thrives in bright indoor light or dappled sunlight outdoors, and performs well under grow lights. Maintaining high humidity promotes faster growth, while temperatures between 60-85°F are ideal. Excellent drainage is crucial; a mix of coconut chips, perlite, and a small amount of sphagnum moss works best. Allow soil to dry nearly completely before watering, favoring under- rather than over-watering. Although sensitive during shipping, the plant recovers quickly if kept from excessive moisture—Does not tolerate wet feet!
