Planting & Harvesting
Seed Depth: 1″ (3cm)
Plant Space: 24″ (61cm)
Row Space: 60″ (1.5m)
Sprouts In: 7-10 days
Plant in full sun and rich soil for best growth. Start outdoors two weeks after last frost, or indoors three weeks before last frost. Germinates poorly in soil below 70°F. Water consistently and feed monthly with side dressing of compost or vegetable food.
Early blossoms are usually male and will not produce fruits. Keep fruits cut regularly at 4-5″ size to promote longer harvest.
