The Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma has surged in popularity in recent years, and for good reason. This fast-growing houseplant is extremely low maintenance and boasts strikingly shaped leaves. Often confused for a Monstera or Philodendron, this aroid actually belongs to its own genus. Originating from Southern Thailand and Malaysia, it is beneficial to know a plant's native region and preferred habitat in order to replicate these conditions in our homes. As a climbing plant, the Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma produces aerial roots that can attach to trees in the warm, tropical environments of its origins. To emulate these conditions, a moss pole, plant stake, or wall-mounted support is recommended for the plant to reach its full height potential.
