Plants cannot tolerate freezing temperatures. These plants do best with full sun to partial shade, but prefer 6-8 hours of direct sunlight. For watering, during summer/hot months the plant should be watered daily. It will also require lots of water while in bloom. During cooler months plants do not need as much water; only water if the soil feels dry to the touch. In this circumstance, overwatering can result in the death of the plant.
