Mexico’s favorite chile pepper! Dried, called ancho or chile ancho.
Here’s the real thing for authentic Chili Rellenos! Poblano peppers have a mildly hot flavor with medium-thick flesh perfect for stuffing. Also known as Ancho chili ("Wide Chile") when smoked and dried.
Use a high phosphorous fertilizer once a month for the best growth.
CAUTION: Use rubber gloves, or clean the hot peppers under running water to avoid skin burn from the pepper juice.
