Great for shish-kebabs, salads (they’re striking!), or just eating in the garden.
Black Cherry tomatoes create drama on a salad plate. Unlike other cherry tomatoes, the black cherries don't have as much water and are very meaty. They're also very sweet with smoky overtones. With cherry tomatoes in general, color is the primary interest, but with black cherry tomatoes, you get the flavor and looks. Vines are quite vigorous, so use a tall cage. Open-pollinated. Fruit Size: 1.5 inch
Indeterminate tomatoes will keep growing and will produce fruit until they are killed by frost in the fall. This type of tomatoes will bloom, set new fruit and ripen fruit throughout the entire growing season so you will have a longer time to harvest.
Suggestions: To keep fruit clean and easier to pick, support with stakes or cages. Tomatoes require at least an inch of water per week.
