One of the oldest varieties of Black Tomatoes!
Heirloom. It originated on the Isle of Krim in Russia. This tomato produces fruit in the range of 10 to 12 ounces. they are extremely dark in color and have a slightly salty taste. Excellent freshly sliced and drizzled with olive oil. Produce all summer.
Indeterminate tomatoes will keep growing and will produce fruit until they are killed by frost in the fall. This type of tomatoes will bloom, set new fruit and ripen fruit throughout the entire growing season so you will have a longer time to harvest.
Suggestions: To keep fruit clean and easier to pick, support with stakes or cages. Tomatoes require at least an inch of water per week.
