Clematis Edda™ Evipo 074
Beautiful Burgundy stripping on Violet Clematis. June, July and September blooming.
Edda ™ Evipo074(n) was a new introduction at the 2014 Chelsea Flower Show and part of Raymond Evison's contemporary gold-medal-winning exhibit that year.
A plant of very compact habit. As the first flowers of the season open it is already producing new stems and the second crop of flowers.
Ideal for the small garden balcony, deck garden or patio when grown in the garden or in a container. However, it is stunning when used and grown by itself or with other annuals in a hanging basket. As its first flowers are blooming, it is already producing trailing stems that hang down with even more flowers.
Good plant for growing in pots or containers due to its compact free flowering habit. Each flower has 6-10 petals. The central petals are shorter and paler in color, the outer petals being purple with a darker reddish purple central bar.
All have pointed tips. The plant is repeat flowering from late Spring until early Autumn. Grows to a height of 3-4’.
Looks outstanding with grey foliaged plants.
