Cornus alba 'Regnzam'Winter Interest! Partial to full sun. (red twigs)
An extremely compact and dense, upright-rounded form with bright red stem color and creamy white spring flowers and deep burgundy-red fall foliage. A great narrow hedge, screen or accent plant. A very tight branching, compact red-twigged dogwood, with slender, deep green leaves tinged with red which turns crimson red in the fall. Clusters of white flowers bloom in mid-spring and small blue fruits ripen mid to late fall attracting hungry birds.
Upright, bright red twigs in winter glow against the snow or black earth in sun, and on cloudy days too. Ideal as a single plant in a smaller garden, or mass-planted in a larger one. Grow as a backdrop to beds, around your home, as an informal hedge.
