Perfect along sunny borders or in mixed plantings. Adaptable to most soil types. Good resistance to powdery mildew. Color intensity is stronger in cooler regions, softer in warmer climates. Masses of large, flowers cover the top of this mat-forming creeper for a long period. Creates a carpet of color for use as a groundcover, in bank plantings or in rock gardens. Spectacular when cascading over walls. Tolerates some drought. Evergreen perennial. Deer resistant. Water regularly in extreme heat for best performance. It requires less water once established. Low Maintenance.
