Crassula muscosa ' Watch Chain' (Princess Pine)
Succulent houseplants are popular plants for window sills, brighten desks and other indoor spaces where you can show them off. Great for weddings! Protect from frost.
Description:
A small succulent plant with tiny light green leaves, densely packed around the thin stem, forming a square mass. It grows as an intricate bush up to 12" tall. The flowers are little and yellow-green. Overwatering is sure to be fatal, so err on the side of too dry rather than too wet. If you water from beneath by letting the plant sit in a saucer of water, make sure to pour off any excess water after a few minutes.
A great plant for living wreaths, containers or as a small-scale ground cover in a rock or succulent garden. Do not over-water. A light misting of water with a spray bottle once or twice a week is adequate for most succulents.
Succulents are FAR more likely to survive under-watering than over-watering. The thick fleshy leaves will appear wilted and a bit “under-full” when they need water.
Dry soil is necessary. Succulents should be potted in a fast-draining mixture that’s designed for cacti and succulents. Modifying basic potting mix with approximately half potting mix to half Perlite or Vermiculite.
Perfect as a houseplant.
