Echeveria amoena

Succulent houseplants are popular plants for window sills, brighten desks and other indoor spaces where you can show them off. Great for weddings! Protect from frost.

Description:

Echeveria amoena is a cute, little succulent with blue-grey rosettes, tinged with pink (in part shade), up to 1-inch tall, up to 2 inches in diameter, forming a little colony of cuteness. In late spring they bust out with pale yellow and coral blooms on red stems for a show that lasts at least a month. Do not over-water. A light misting of water with a spray bottle once or twice a week is adequate for most succulents.

Succulents are FAR more likely to survive under-watering than over-watering. The thick fleshy leaves will appear wilted and a bit “under-full” when they need water.

Dry soil is necessary. Succulents should be potted in a fast-draining mixture that’s designed for cacti and succulents. Modifying basic potting mix with approximately half potting mix to half Perlite or Vermiculite.

Perfect as a houseplant.
