Kalanchoe marieriana "Marnier's Kalanchoe'

Succulent houseplants are popular plants for window sills, brighten desks and other indoor spaces where you can show them off. Great for weddings! Protect from frost.

Description:

Kalanchoe marnieriana is a succulent subshrub, up to 18 inches tall and up to 3 feet wide, with flat, rounded, blue-green leaves, The leaves are arranged oppositely and flatten together facing toward the branch tips and turn to a pink color in winter. the rose-pink to red flowers emerge and dangle off reddish stalks at the end of the branches throughout the year.

Great in succulent gardens or as a houseplant. To repot a succulent, make sure the soil is dry before repotting, then gently remove the pot. Knock away the old soil from the roots, making sure to remove any rotted or dead roots in the process. These dead leaves provide a haven for pests. A great plant for living wreaths, containers or as a small-scale ground cover in a rock or succulent garden.

Succulents are FAR more likely to survive under-watering than over-watering. The thick fleshy leaves will appear wilted and a bit “under-full” when they need water.
