DESCRIPTION
Mammillaria elegans is a cactus native to Mexico. Its globular shape is covered in dense white spines and fluffy white wool. In spring, it produces long-lasting rings of magenta flowers that beautifully contrast with its woolly body. This cactus can form clusters over time and should be protected from frost to avoid scarring. Pair with other plants to enhance its beauty. Recommended for USDA Zone 10a, Mammillaria elegans grows up to 8 inches high and thrives in porous soil with proper drainage and full sun exposure. Water thoroughly only when the soil is completely dry.
