Sedum morgaianum 'Burrito'

DESCRIPTION

The origin of Sedum morganianum 'Burrito' remains a mystery, with no known record of the plant being found in its natural habitat. Some speculate that it may be a hybrid of S. morganianum, a succulent native to Mexico with long cascading stems and blue-green leaves. When planting, it is important to choose a porous soil with good drainage, as these plants are accustomed to rocky inclines with quick water drainage. They thrive in hanging baskets, as well as brightly lit atriums or patios with filtered light. The addition of several plants can create a lush, succulent greenery for your patio, and the charming pink-red flowers at the ends of the "dreadlock-like" stems are sure to please.

Succulents are FAR more likely to survive under-watering than over-watering. The thick fleshy leaves will appear wilted and a bit “under-full” when they need water.

Perfect as a houseplant.
