Allium 'Milenium' (Ornamental Onion)
Purplish-Pink Flower. Attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies.
Blooms heavily in early summer. Aromatic foliage has a peppermint-lemon scent when brushed against or crushed. Exceptional massed in beds and borders.
This foolproof variety of allium is clump-forming and produces a sterile seed that will not spread in the landscape like other selections, flowers appear in late summer-early fall with purple-pink umbels on smooth stems that are held above green grass-like foliage, vigorous growth rate, excellent deer and rabbit resistance. Use in mixed pots or urns for charming Old World look. A natural for adding color to the wildlife garden.
