Male and female plant are grown along-side each other for prolific berry production. A dense, upright and rounded form reaching 7 to 10 feet tall and 5 to 8 feet wide. Shiny green foliage sets off the heavy berry set. These hollies are much more winter hardy than common holly. Now almost everyone in the country can harvest their own festive holly branches, laden with berries, even from the smallest garden. USDA Z5 - Cold Hardy to -10 to -20(F)
Thrives in average, well-drained soil; avoid poorly drained, wet sites. Water deeply, regularly during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system; reduce frequency once established.
