Kelly's Gypsum Calcium Sulfate Capsulated Pellets  50 lb.

Most plants produce better in a neutral pH range. This product decreases pH in alkaline soils by replacing sodium with calcium, which allows plants to utilize other nutrients more efficiently.

This product is not recommended for use as a fertilizer substitute.

This product is non-burning if used according to the directions.

This product is produced from a mined high quality Calcium Sulfate stone. It is then crushed to a pulverized fineness and then capsulated. This assures a virtually dust free, accurate and easy application.

For Turf, Lawn, & Garden

  • Loosens heavy clay soils.

Recommendations: 

Follow soil test results. Without test results follow these guidelines. When possible incorporate into top 2-4  inches of soil.

For Heavy Clay Soils:

Apply 1-2 tons per acre to correct soil condition.

New Turf & Lawn:

Incorporate 80-100 lbs.  per 1,000 sq. ft. before seeding or sodding.

Established Turf & Lawn:

Apply 40-50 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft., to maintain soil condition.

For Salty irrigated or reclaimed water:

Kelly's Gypsum is recommended. Consult your Agronomist or Extension Agent for proper rates of application.
