A lovely plant for the flower or vegetable garden. Pebbled grey-green leaves with spikes of purple flowers in late spring. Use fresh or dried to flavor meats and poultry.

Plant in full sun to partial shade in well-drained soil. Keep soil evenly moist until plants have germinated. Mature plants are quite drought tolerant.
