Squash 'Yellow Straightneck' Summer
Thin glossy skin which can vary from a light butter yellow to a bright lemon yellow. Baked, broiled, fried, steamed, grilled, pickled, or raw, this versatile squash freezes well too. Early blossoms are usually male, and will not reproduce fruit. For best flavor and texture the squash should be harvested when five to six inches in length or less.
